The History of Luan's
In 1992 Luan Jonuzi immigrated from the Albanian region of Prespa with the dream of owning a restaurant one day. After many years of hard work & gaining experience in several different kitchens around London, Luan acquired Irene's Seafood & Grill. As the owner of Irene's for the past 25 years, Luan has worked 7 days a week alongside his family. But in 2020, everything changed when the Covid-19 Pandemic became a roadblock to our industry.
When the Covid-19 Pandemic hit, we were all left with much uncertainty. Owning a small business became extremely difficult, but our business was held together by our loyal patrons. Although there have been a lot of negatives over the past year, we found a way to create a positive from this all. After our dining room closed for over a year and a half now, we decided that when we come back, we will be better than ever- Introducing Luan's Seafood & Grill!
With this reopening, not only did we change our name but, we did much more! We touched up our exterior & interior, we added tons of new dishes, signature drinks and an updated menu that compliments an elegant experience! Your experience is our number 1 priority and we aim to deliver you nothing but the best.
We offer an interpretation of both modern and traditional cuisine. Our philosophy is straightforward- to source fresh ingredients, provide an exceptionally flavourful dishes, and to serve our customers with joy and love. This process starts in the heart of our restaurant - the kitchen. The cuisine at Luan's blends many succulent seafood dishes but offers much variety. We are partnered with the best suppliers and they have been with us for over 20 years with a commitment to deliver us the best. Our focus is freshness and, respect for every ingredient is paramount to our process.
